This presentation explores what dance may help to understand about these corporeal dimensions and how dance provides a space for exploring the emergence of new corporeal literacies brought about by technological innovations like cinema, television, and digital media.

An imaginative community meets to explore their needs and relationships with the world around them. Oleg Soulimenko’s new artistic proposal creates a room full of sensitive physicality while at the same time questioning it as a space of integration.

In "Chasing a Ghost", Alexandra Bachzetsis continuously creates a double — a double body, a double sound, a double space, a double image. Challenging the choreographic archetype of the duet, "Chasing a Ghost" stages these doubles within a spectrum of violence and desire.

For their second piece, the five PARASOL participants – Alex Bailey, Camilla Schielin, Júlia Rúbies Subirós, Shahrzad Nazarpour, Theresa Scheinecker – will team up with choreographer Alix Eynaudi, sound designer Paul Kotal and musician Han-Gyeol Lie to create a speculative register of songs and dances.
