Restrooms

Public restrooms are located near the main entrance and are open daily from 08:00 – 02:00.

Additional restrooms are available in museums and restaurants and are reserved for their visitors.

Seating

Numerous seating options are available throughout MuseumsQuartier Wien. In particular, the iconic Enzis shape the public space and have become an integral part of the area’s distinctive culture of leisure.

Free Wi-Fi

Free Wi-Fi is available to visitors at the MuseumsQuartier Wien. Access is possible in outdoor areas and in selected indoor areas.

Waste disposal & deposit

Waste bins for waste separation are available throughout the MuseumsQuartier Wien.

For returnable bottles and cans, deposit shelves and collection rings are also accessible at all times, making it easy to dispose of them properly or pass them on for reuse.

These measures are part of the "MQ goes Green" initiative—with your contribution, you are supporting the sustainable and responsible use of resources.

Bicycles & Scooters

Riding bicycles, scooters, e-scooters, or similar devices on the premises is not permitted. Please use the designated parking spaces in the courtyards.

Animals

Animals are generally permitted in the outdoor areas of MuseumsQuartier Wien, as long as they are kept on a leash or otherwise properly secured. In museums, exhibition spaces, and indoor areas, the respective house rules of each institution apply.

ATM

There are two ATMs available in the MuseumsQuartier. One ATM is located at the main entrance, another in courtyard 2.

Lost property

Found items are taken to the security center at the main entrance. You can also inquire about lost items there.

Safety

The MuseumsQuartier is a public space. Please observe the applicable safety and conduct rules in the house and event regulations as well as any notices on site.

The security center is located near the main entrance and can be reached at any time in case of concerns or emergencies.

Defibrillator

A publicly accessible defibrillator is located in the security center at the main entrance of the MuseumsQuartier. Additional defibrillators are available at the Leopold Museum and on the MQ Libelle.

Photography & Filming

Photography in the outdoor areas of the MuseumsQuartier is generally permitted for private purposes.

Editorial or commercial photo and film shoots require approval and must be coordinated in advance.
