The MuseumsQuartier is centrally located in the 7th district and is easily accessible by public transport. The nearest subway stations are MuseumsQuartier (U2) and Volkstheater (U2, U3). In addition, several tram and bus lines stop in the immediate vicinity.

As there are no parking spaces available at the MuseumsQuartier itself, we recommend the nearby Contipark underground car park "Am MuseumsQuartier" and the surrounding short-stay parking zones.

There are four accessible parking spaces available for people with disabilities on the MuseumQuartier grounds. Access is via the main entrance at the Volkstheater.

Dogs and other pets are welcome in the outdoor areas of the MQ, as long as they are kept on a leash. However, animals are not permitted in the museums and indoor areas of the MQ, with the exception of assistance dogs with appropriate certification.

The courtyards and museums remain open as usual. Individual restaurants, leisure facilities, and outdoor attractions may be subject to restrictions due to weather conditions or may close at short notice. Please check directly with the respective establishment for the latest information.

The courtyards are freely accessible. A ticket is required for exhibitions and events in the museums.

Tickets can be purchased online via our web shop or on site at the ticket office. Registration (with email and password) is required for online purchases. The ticket entitles the holder to admission to the selected institution or exhibition at the time of purchase. When purchasing, please check which institution or exhibition the ticket is valid for. We also offer combination tickets.

Yes – many museums offer combination tickets and discounts. Discounted prices apply to students, seniors, visitors with disabilities, and Vienna City Card holders. Valid ID must be presented along with the ticket upon admission.

All ticket purchases are final and tickets cannot be returned.

Yes, there are numerous cafés and restaurants in the MQ, such as the Dschungel Café, MQdaily, Café Leopold, the Kantine, Lil’ Italy Halle, and the Glacis Beisl, which can be accessed at any time without exhibition tickets. Shopping opportunities are available at MQ Point, the Buchhandlung Walther König bookstore, and Combinat.
