House Rules

Museum Quarter Vienna

Dear visitors!

Welcome to the MuseumsQuartier Vienna!

In the interest of public order and safety, by entering the MuseumsQuartier premises, you expressly agree to the following rules:

1. General Information

You are on private property. The property management office keeps the courtyards of the MuseumsQuartier open to the public until further notice. These rules apply to the entire MuseumsQuartier grounds, including the forecourt (see the map above). The current version of the Road Traffic Regulations (StVO) also applies throughout the MuseumsQuartier grounds.

Within the scope of these house rules, visitors must conduct themselves in such a way that no other person is harmed, endangered, obstructed, harassed, or threatened.

In the event of important operational requirements, such as maintenance, repair, upkeep, or other work, MQ E+B GesmbH expressly reserves the right to restrict access to certain areas of the MuseumsQuartier premises for as long as absolutely necessary, and, if necessary, to completely close off or evacuate specific areas.

Please note that, in addition to these house rules, the MQ Libelle house rules, as currently in effect, also apply and are expressly accepted upon passing through the turnstile.

2. Admission

Entry to and exit from the MuseumsQuartier is permitted only through the designated entrances, exits, and access points. Emergency exits and stairwells may only be opened or used in emergencies. Unauthorized opening of emergency exits will be strictly punished.

3. Visitors

Parents and adult chaperones are solely responsible for supervising children and adolescents and are accountable for the behavior of minors.

4. Access Regulations for Vehicles on the MuseumQuartier Premises

Any violation of these regulations will result in the vehicle being towed at the owner’s expense or in legal action being taken for trespass.

The speed limit throughout the entire area is 5 km/h.

Vehicles may only be stopped or parked in the designated areas within the MuseumsQuartier grounds. Driving or stopping on areas marked as sidewalks is strictly prohibited. The entry and driving of single-track vehicles, as well as the stopping and parking of such vehicles within the MuseumsQuartier grounds, is prohibited without exception.

Please note that the garage operator’s rules and regulations apply to the underground parking garage located beneath the MQ forecourt.

5. Prohibitions

Visitors to the MuseumsQuartier are expressly prohibited from engaging in the following activities throughout the entire MuseumsQuartier premises:
