Tatiana Bilbao Estudio
This exhibition provides an insight into the work of Mexican architect Tatiano Bilbao (born 1972 in Mexico City). For the first time in Austria, she is presenting her eponymous office, it’s approach and philosophy, along with their most important building projects.

Archikids Workshop (6-99): Wunderkammer
A spatial imagination is essential in architecture. Models, sketches and samples of the materials help us to picture these spaces more clearly. The exhibition ‘Tatiana Bilbao Estudio’ provides insights into such working processes and the impressive buildings by the Mexican architect. In the workshop, we then build our own models to see what new rooms really look like.

Club Architektur - Time of Crisis: Emergency or Permanent Situation?
Covid pandemic, housing crisis, climate catastrophe. These are throwing our ostensible 'normality' out of balance. However, we still continue to hope that solutions will be found so that things can return to normal as soon as possible afterwards. But what if there is no 'afterwards' and there is no 'normal? An interdisciplinary panel discusses these questions on a broad social level.

Excursion: Studio Visits
Katharina Urbanek / studio urbanek and Michael Obrist / feld72 enter into a dialogue with partners from the Az W, to give a guided tour of the exhibition 'Tatiana Bilbao Estudio'. For Vienna Art Week, they are opening their office doors to the Architekturzentrum Wien and giving visitors an insight into their working methods.
