There are plenty of models and drawings to admire in the exhibition "Hollein Calling", as multiple variations were produced in Hans Hollein’s studio for each project — there are twelve models on show just of the entrance to the Volcano Museum. We find inspiration in the exhibition and then build our own projects with LEGO.

So an architect has to have many skills: drawing plans, calculating costs, negotiating with clients and, in the meantime, increasingly ensuring that the whole construction site, including the materials and machinery, does not produce too much CO2.

Renate Wagner-Rieger (1921– 1980) was the first woman to hold a chair as a professor at the Department of Art History in Vienna, in 1971. Her groundbreaking research project on the Vienna Ring Road initiated a reevaluation of the era of Historicism. By asking uncomfortable questions, women’s research set trends that contributed significantly to redefining the discipline.
