O-Töne Premieres: Greta Lauer "Gedeih und Verderb"

Greta Lauer, born in 1990, lives in Vienna. She studied German, philosophy and psychoanalysis and worked as an assistant director at German-language theatres. She writes scenic texts, poetry and prose, is a member of the GAV and has already published in various literary magazines. At the O-Töne she reads from her debut novel "Gedeih und Verderb" (Luftschacht).

Ana Marwan, born in 1980, lives as a freelance author in Vienna and writes in German and Slovenian. Her first novel "Der Kreis des Weberknechts" was published by Otto Müller Verlag in 2019. Her second novel "Zabubljena" (Beletrina), which won the Slovenian Critics' Prize, followed in Slovenian in 2021. In 2022, Marwan won the Ingeborg Bachmann Prize with her text "Wechselkröte". Since 2023 she has also been co-publisher and editor-in-chief of the literary magazine "Literatur und Kritik". This year, the German translation of "Zabubljena" was published under the title "Verpuppt" (Otto Müller), from which Ana Marwan will also read during the O-Töne.
