ImPulsTanz x mumok 2023: Yulia Arsen / Tatiana Chizhikova & Roman Malyavkin "the whip / fractional step"

A two-part evening that brings together artistic positions that have one thing in common: a "twist", a tipping point after which, just like in real life, nothing is the same anymore. Yulia Arsen’s work revolves around the whip in all its symbolic meanings; in "fractional step", Tatiana Chizhikova and Roman Malyavkin deconstruct folk dance in all its ambivalence between virtuosity, bravura and despair.
