As the former court stables, the MuseumsQuartier, together with Maria-Theresien-Platz, Heldenplatz and the Hofburg, is one of the city's most important historic architectural ensembles. In the Ringstrasse era, the architects Gottfried Semper and Carl Hasenauer sought to achieve a continuity between these sites. The Imperial Forum reveals Vienna's eventful history and lets you step back into 19th century.
