BOX OF TRUTH
The "Box of Truth" is a glass container in the courtyard of Vienna’s MuseumsQuartier. It contains two chairs and a lie detector. Every "Vienna Trial" weekend will start with two public figures being attached to the lie detector and subjected to a public hearing by actor Bibiana Beglau.

This evening sees four performers undergo an absurd orgy of entrances and exits, a luscious confusion of roles, costumes and scene changes. The actors appear remote controlled as they react to sounds played by a ghostlike director.

SANCTA
The Austrian performance artist Florentina Holzinger demolishes stage genres and visual habits. Setting out from Paul Hindemith’s one-act opera "Sancta Susanna" (premiered in 1922), she joins forces with an ensemble of opera singers, sex workers and body modification artists to investigate the way female identities and bodies are trimmed in religious systems and rites.

ROHTKO
It is one of the art world’s greatest scandals. In 2004, a businessman and his wife bought a painting by expressionist painter Mark Rothko for 8.3 million dollars. They had fallen in love with it on sight. Only, as it turns out years later, it wasn’t painted by Rothko, but by a Chinese migrant from Queens. Can a forged painting trigger real feelings?
