She was an artist, a master of self-promotion and became an icon: Frida Kahlo. Her world full of colours, emotions and contradictions is now brought to life in a frenzy of dance and rousing live music. Inspired by her famous painting "The Two Fridas", an emotional tribute unfolds on stage, celebrating both her irrepressible joie de vivre and her inner conflicts. Winner of the Austrian music theatre award "Goldener Schikaneder", this dance theatre promises an unforgettable feast for all the senses, accompanied by boleros, tangos and popular Mexican songs.

Accompanied by death throughout her life, Frida experienced her existence with great intensity: whether in moments flooded with sunshine or in moments that seemed as dark as the darkest night. Star choreographer Enrique Gasa Valga, who has found his artistic home in Austria and has received numerous awards for his ballet productions, translates the artist's irrepressible will to live and inner conflicts into a powerful, breathtaking dance theatre that reveals Frida's indomitable spirit, her passion and her pain.
