Public Moves: Techno Contemporary Moves
with Nicole Berndt-Caccivio
Fri 18.07., 18.45h l MQ Forecourt l Free entry
After a warm-up in silence, based on Yoga, Tai-Chi and Release exercises that, through breath, connect us with the whole body (the body is a living process), hard and pulsating techno combined with movement sequences lead us to a shared clubbing experience. Contemporary dance sequences turn into freestyle at the end of the class that is accompanied by the the sound.
Public Moves dance classes take place outdoors every day – international and local instructors share their knowledge of everything from jazz and Bollywood dance to waacking in free outdoor classes. No previous experience is necessary, and all ages and levels are welcome!
Registration begins one day before the course starts at 11:00 a.m. via the calendar or by telephone on +43.1.523 55 58-19. If a class is ‘fully booked’, there is still the possibility of securing a remaining place on site. It's worth dropping by!

As a biodynamic craniosacral therapist since 2004, she explores the exchange between generations in her work, as well as the experience of aging as a performer, particularly through solo projects with Caccivio en Compagnie (Biel-Bienne) since 2020. In these works, she focuses on both physical and choreographic expertise alongside her own social visions.

In 2024 and 2025, she is a guest at the KarteNoir / Incubo project in Biel-Bienne (Switzerland) in the form of a residency and performance.
