Public Moves: Collective Future Happening
with Mzamo Nondlwana

Fri 25.07., 18.45h l MQ Forecourt l Free entry

This movement practice explores collective healing and the politics of affection through dance. It envisions healing as a radical practice – one that does not happen in isolation but within community. By tapping into collective consciousness, Collective Future Happening imagines an alternative future where gathering, movement, and care become acts of resistance and transformation. This is a ceremonial space for those who seek new ways of coming together, reclaiming joy, and fostering healing as a shared experience. Open to all who dream of a future rooted in connection this practice invites participants to move, sense, and create a space of collective renewal.

Public Moves dance classes take place outdoors every day – international and local instructors share their knowledge of everything from jazz and Bollywood dance to waacking in free outdoor classes. No previous experience is necessary, and all ages and levels are welcome!

Registration begins one day before the course starts at 11:00 a.m. via the calendar or by telephone on +43.1.523 55 58-19. If a class is ‘fully booked’, there is still the possibility of securing a remaining place on site. It's worth dropping by!
