Candide

Candide

Why is the world in crisis when everyone seemingly only wants the best? We are living in the best of all possible worlds. This is what the young Candide is taught by his teacher Pangloss. And even though Candide experiences war, plagues and natural disasters, even though his home is destroyed, his beloved Cunegonde is raped and he himself escapes death by the skin of his teeth on several occasions, he remains an incorrigible optimist as he travels boldly through the Old World and the New World.

Alma Söderberg "New Old"

Alma Söderberg "New Old"

"New Old" is rather personal. It is on the verge, if not already way over the edge, to something private. Meandering between topics such as the fear of peeing oneself, the mouth-like quality of the vulva, the phenomenologically fascinating thing of being two people at once for a while, as well as how musical the word ‘pussy’ is in different languages, and the consequences thereof.

Netti Nüganen "The Myth: last day"

Netti Nüganen "The Myth: last day"

"The Myth: last day" is centred around a prefabricated archaeological mine, where a pseudo-archaeologist digs objects from the ground. It intertwines reality and fiction and creates myths, thereby constructing speculative pasts and futures. The show’s second part is a black-metal-inspired doomsday concert, where the researcher becomes a chaotic punk-metalhead.
