Performance: this human world – rifting softly
Fri 08.09., 19h; from 20h DJ-Set l MQ Summer Stage, Main Courtyard l free admission
Glaciers are on the move. They are sensors that mark changes that took place a long time ago. Glacier movements are minimal and gradually slow, but the changes are suddenly exposed.
rifting softly approaches the complexity of melting processes - a melting of orientations, systems and the emotional qualities of it. Ecological, temporal and queerfeminsitic perspectives mosaic together to form a performative to a performative event. The performance flows along qualities of melting. Two performers tear, shift, last, flow, rotate, break, tug and tear, soften, fall, connect, fade away. Constructed and static things grope their way into the unknown of detachment into the unknown. Sounds from the ice of the Hintertuxer Glacier interweave with electronic sound and voice.
The performance will be shown as part of the this human world - International Human Rights Film Festival. The festival takes place this year from 30.11 - 10.12 in Vienna.
Performance, Scores: Verena Herterich, Olivia Hild

Followed by DJ set by DJ MIHINI
Through an intense involvement with art, culture and social issues, Mihini also came into contact with mixing and collecting music a few years ago and has since been able to use this as another means of experimental expression of her creativity. The primary focus is to create a value-free, open and safe space for sharing through self-directed movement. Following the motto 'Keep sharing, stay connected' Mihini was able to found the @kollektiv.tanzmotif with artist friends in the course of the Corona-Club-Vakuum and has been making various crowds and dancefloors shake and shine ever since.
