The Monday Listening Club offers visitors a unique combination of vinyl listening experience, vintage flea market and live DJ sets. On this evening, Martin Markeli invites us to an ALL STARS special, where various special guests will bring their very own sounds to the MQ summer stage.

Martin Markeli is not only a DJ, but also a passionate music lover, artist and curator of analog sound culture. He lives out his deep connection to music - especially records - in a variety of projects. One of these is the Monday Listening Club, which he is curating again this summer at MuseumsQuartier Wien.What makes the Monday Listening Club special is the careful blend of nostalgic music enjoyment and lively community culture. Martin Markeli creates a space in which the love of music takes center stage - analog, unagitated, genuine. He operates at the interface of art, music and cultural curating. As a DJ, artist and collector of analog sound carriers, he understands music not only as sound, but as cultural material - as a carrier of memory, as a social gesture, as a space for collective experience. The record is at the center of his exploration: a medium with history, with weight - both physically and emotionally.
With the Monday Listening Club, Markeli presents a format that decelerates in a radical way: Listening as an artistic practice.
