The installation The Cloud of Unknowing is a poetic preoccupation with the intangible, with a world that vacillates between the rational and the irrational, the discursive and the intuitive.

The Cloud of Unknowing – perhaps a place or a condition where, paradoxically, something greater reveals itself precisely in the darkness of its incomprehensibility. A sensation that is both dizzying and sublime – as Werner Heisenberg very poetically put it when he encountered the inexplicable phenomena of the quantum physics world: "I had the feeling of looking through the surface of the atomic phenomena to a deep underlying ground of strange inner beauty and it almost made me dizzy to think of it."

[The traditional image of the „Cloud of Unknowing“ has its actual origin in the account of Moses' encounter with God in the cloud on Mount Sinai. „The Cloud of Unknowing“ also refers to a treatise from the late 14th century by an unidentifiable author and describes the path to knowledge in the tradition of Christian mysticism.]

Installation: upcycled glass, wood, acryl paint
