Design as the intelligence of things. The students of the bachelor and master programs Industrial Design of the FH Joanneum in Graz under the direction of Prof. Thomas Feichtner give an insight into their projects. They show intelligent objects and user experiences taking into account cultural, social and ecological developments. Sustainability in the use of innovative materials as well as the examination of socially relevant topics are the focus of this exhibition. On display are products ranging from smart tools to autonomous vehicles, from sustainable furniture to sophisticated sports equipment.

Lecture on Industrial Design by Prof. Thomas Feichtner

On 3.3.2022, Prof. Thomas Feichtner will present a wide selection of works by students of Industrial Design at FH JOANNEUM in Graz as part of the Industrial Design Exhibition and provide an insight into the Bachelor's and Master's degree programs. Whether digital, demographic or climate change, the works deal with relevant topics and range from Product Design to Circular Design, Social Design and Generative Design to Interaction Design and Open Innovation. "It is precisely the complexity of social and ecological change that forces designers to think in an interdisciplinary way, to reflect critically and to interact courageously," says Feichtner.

The participation is free of charge! Please register by mail to projekte@designaustria.at
