All eras in fashion are covered, starting with Adam and Eve and the ancient cultures of Egypt, Greece, and the Roman Empire and continuing over the Middle Ages, the Baroque, and Jugendstil up to the present day. The latest trends in contemporary design are represented with the work of Austrian designers.

The History of Fashion is a major fashion spectacle with almost 200 participating actors and models. The event will be held in the Main Courtyard of the MuseumsQuartier and is free to the public.

Produced by well-known Austrian director Mario Soldo, the fashion show will be structured like a movie and will feature a variety of entertaining acts, including singers, dancers, musicians, and parcours runners.
