Object Worshipping: Notes on Oldenburg\'s Performances and Films
Lecture by Branden W. Jospeh
Thu, May 3

Claes Oldenburg often described the core of his performance aesthetic in terms of an almost fetishistic \"worship\" of the objects (including people) deployed within his happening-like events. This talk will examine this concept as Oldenburg pursued it in theater pieces and attempted to extend it into a series of little-known cinematic productions.

Patty Mucha: What actually happened
Fri, May 4

Admission free
