Climax employs a lexical definition according to which the term denotes a kind of highpoint and refers to something complete. In their choreographic work, Laurence Yadi and Nicolas Cantillon investigate it rather as a kind of counter-model, as a perspective on dance that, beyond a utopian idea of absoluteness, rather highlights the importance of invention and the boundaries of the danceable. The solo deals with the splits between the emerging and the always already intimated dissolution that is inherent in every climax. In the correspondence between a fascinating continuum and an almost mathematical sense of movement, the dancer\'s body is simultaneously the material and instrument of a choreographic script.
