Project info

During her residency at MQ Sama Kashef works on a short movie and a foto exhibition.

"Replay" is a short silent movie embracing the fact that we humans go through the same mental problems at some point in our lives. We all have our own stories, feelings, and reactions to different scenarios in life. Some individuals had to grow up fast and were burdened early with responsibilities. Others didn't ever grow up hanging on to their youth at whatever costs.

"Caught" is a testament to the power of photography as a medium to encapsulate the extraordinary beauty found in the ordinary moments of life. It invites audiences to appreciate the fleeting nature of existence, reminding us to pause, immerse ourselves, and cherish the captivating fragments of time that are too often overlooked.
