Projectinfo

Participating artist in the upcoming exhibition "Connecting Sound Etc. Cable Works, Cable Sounds, Cables Everywhere" curated by Georg Weckwerth

Documentation

During my stay, I developed the idea for my site-specific artwork “Attention”, which will be shown in the exhibition “Connecting Sound Etc.” in June 2014 at freiraum quartier21 INTERNATIONAL. With the support of the quartier21 staff, I could access the venue and information surrounding the venue, which made it possible to progress with the idea and planning.
It was really valuable to discuss in depth about the concept of the exhibition “Connecting Sound Etc.“ with curator Georg Weckwerth. This experience not only developed my idea for the artwork, but also contributed to the exhibition, by connecting with my colleagues, Serina Erfjord and Ina Hagen.
It was also interesting to visit museums, galleries and artists-run-spaces in Vienna. Because of my short stay and also the christmas season, it was not enough time to experience the scene of Vienna. I’m looking forward to visiting Vienna again for the exhibition.
