Maartje Dijkstra, Fashion designer/illustrator, graduated in 2006 at the ARTEZ/HKA Arnhem,bachelor in fashion design.
In 2006 she started her own small label, based in Rotterdam the Netherlands, where she designs spherical, individualistic, advantage, handcrafted High-fashion pieces, creating collections, accessories, jewelry and hand drawn illustrations.
Making statement pieces/collections for the catwalk is the thing she is most focused on.
The catwalk is her ideal exhibition space, where every piece of the collection, styling, models and the surrounding idea in music and animation come together.

A cooperation between Maartje Dijkstra, fashion designer/illustrator and Beorn”Newk” Lebenstedt, electronic music composer/multi media, designing a High-fashion mens outfit as artists in residency' 'Fashion meets technology' Vienna.
The outfit named' Denzipfaden' is consisting out of a jacket, trouser, accessories like custom made shoes and bracelets and a detailed top that carries the technology of the outfit.
This top is made from golden silk/polyester wires and golden custom made zippers that functions as a fader-controller, like those on a dj-mixer.
