Murat Durusoy is a media artist and photographer currently situated in İstanbul, Turkey, in his hometown. He graduated with an MA degree in Visual Arts and Visual Cımmunication Design from Sabanci University wit a thesis entitled "Rise of Subjectivist Photography in Digital Era; Can There be Photography after the Post-Modern Image?"

He has exhibited his works in several festivals and galleries in Turkey and around the world, including upcoming show in MuseumsQuartier with collaboration of Interface Cultures Lab, Linz in Freiraum International. The work entitled “Ban’em All”, is an installation created with Ahmet Türkoğlu, tries to raise awareness to the censorship issues of websites and the difficulties or obstacles to overcome in the legal system of their homeland, Turkey.

He is currently in collaboration with CAM Gallery, İstanbul. His recent group show is still in view in İstanbul, called “Awakening”.
Also he is a member of “amber “Art and Technology Platform.
