Diana Hambardzumyan is a prose writer, translator, University professor, Doctor in Philology, Professor of Linguistics. She is the author of twelve books: fiction, translations, monographs and university text-books. Her stories are translated into nine languages and published in anthologies and magazines abroad. In 2009, her novel "In the God-inhabited Country" was awarded. She has just finished the novel she started writing in Vienna. It's entitled "A Knock at the Door". It is getting published in June 2013.
