Wien is interesting for me first of all because of it’s socially sensitive attitude. One of the results of this strong social approach is large scale financing of education projects concerned with children.

In Wien I would like to study various children’s museum education programs, as unfortunately there are only few initiations concerned with it in Hungary and would be substantial to study the international models.

As a starting point I would visit and study wienXtra in the MuseumsQuartier, that’s major scope is constructive organisation of children's leisure time. As a more specific source I would study MuMoK’s and Kunsthalle Wien’s educational programs and would like to consult with professionals from different museums about the possibilities of this field.

Further of course I would use this 2 months to become familiar with the contemporary visual art scene of Wien and to meet artists and curators interested in socially sensitive art.
