Meet the Artist: Guided Tour & Talk with MQ Artist-in-Residence

Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of art! Our MQ Artists-in-Residence open the doors to their studios to give you an exclusive look behind the scenes. Since 2002, the Artist-in-Residence program has enabled around 60 international artists to live and work directly in the MuseumsQuartier every year.
In an inspiring collaboration with our partners, the artists are not only given space for creative development, but also the opportunity to explore the unique diversity of the Austrian art and culture scene. The artists are not just guests - they are driving forces who enrich the artistic scene in the Austrian capital with their international perspectives.
Be there when art and culture meet, when cross-border creativity meets local traditions. Discover the stories behind their artistic works, exchange ideas and be enchanted by the energy of the international art scene.
