Workshop (6 – 10): The City as Our Playground - Summer Academy

What are all the things we need in a city? Homes, schools, police, fire fighters, a theatre and much more. Where can people pass their time? What do streets, squares, green spaces and playgrounds look like? We use an urban game to playfully conquer the public space in the Museumsquartier, and then we put the nearby playgrounds to the test.

We also visit our exhibition ‘Serious Fun. Architecture & Games’ to try out the games on display: from Bioblo to board games, to an urban game. Back in the workshop we build, too, but watch out! In our city, we want to follow a parcours that will present us with some tricky obstacles.
