Drawing inspiration from the experimental writings of Pauline Oliveros, the artists offer audio-visual interpretations of the horse, each revealing its symbolic resonance and cultural significance. From ancient civilisations, horses have served as powerful symbols of strength, freedom, and control. Set against the backdrop of a former stable, and by exploring themes of domination, mobility, and coexistence, Horse Power invites us to critically reflect on the ways in which we harness and exploit the power of the horse, both literally and metaphorically.

The Speedshow Series is an exhibition format of the University of Applied Arts Vienna, curated at the Digital Arts Department, in cooperation with MuseumsQuartier. The exhibition was developed within a seminar of Melissa Logan (Chicks on Speed).

On the same evening (06.03.) the opening of Anna Meyer´s exhibition Planettoo will take place in the MQ Pop-Up Schauraum.
