Inspired by Ernst Jandl's poem, we meet Otto and his pug and observe them in their normal yet absurd everyday life.

They argue and make up again, care for each other and get on each other's nerves. There is a lot of romping around, jumping, making music and dancing.
But what does the pug want? And what does Otto want? And what do they do when they disagree?

A musician and a performer bring the relationship between humans and animals to the stage. In the rhythm of the poem, they use music, humour and poetry to tell the story of two beings who cannot and do not want to live without each other. They talk about communication problems, the need for independence and the longing not to be alone.
