As a dancer and choreographer, Isabel Lewis is interested in the relations between the individual components of a live situation and how these can be brought into composition. In her so-called "hosted occasions", she eases the formalities of focused, distanced observation typically found within the theater context and creates an aesthetic situation in which visitors can drift in and out of attention and sociality. As host, the artist invites guests to sit, lie, sway, move, contemplate, converse, or simply be with one another in the landscape that will transform Halle G, unfolding a live experience attuned to the mood of the evening. Choreography, music, and stories, as well as special scents composed by artist and smell-researcher Sissel Tolaas and amuse-bouches by local artist and chef Steffi Parlow, address the entire human sensorium. 

The visitors can spend as much time as they want with the work, being able to leave and to come back any time.
