"Never final" – this phrase coined by Hertha Firnberg continues to define mumok as a dynamic place of change. Her idea is reinforced by the Museum Talks, an open format that uses interactive exhibition design to create lively spaces for dialogue between politicians, collection researchers, art historians and visitors. Marie-Therese Hochwartner, collection manager and curator of the exhibition, talks to Nina Ansperger, artistic and scientific director of museum gugging, about neighbourhoods in the collection and presentation between museum gugging and mumok.

Participation in the museum talks is free of charge; no admission ticket is required. As the events take place outside regular opening hours, online registration is required.
