In "Musée Duras", French theatre maker Julien Gosselin transports the existential power of the French writer Marguerite Duras’ texts into the present over the course of one long day together with a group of young actors.

"He told her that he was still in love with her, that he would never stop loving her, that he would love her to his death." – Julien Gosselin's "Musée Duras" is made up of eleven plays, each under an hour long. Together with the audience, the fifteen young actors delve deep into the world of Marguerite Duras: the author, who would have had her 111th birthday this year, drilled to ruthless depths on the essence of love and violence with her writings, which include "The Lover", "The War: A Memoir and Hiroshima mon amour". In "Musée Duras", Gosselin transports the existential power of the French writer's texts into the present over the course of one long day. The audience can visit "Musée Duras" for two or more hours, is free to come and go anytime or, indeed, let the pull of the entire ten-hour performance take hold (with brief intermissions between the pieces). One thing is certain: This museum of love is passionate from start to finish.
