While the computer is still rendering the future, Austrian pop'n'rock newcomers Kobrakasino are calmly hacking our present: multi-layered pop arrangements, compressed German lyrics and dancing rhythms paint colorful pictures of surreal lovesickness and solar-punk utopias. With a smile on their lips, the band manipulates the code of reality: doom is postponed, those who want to fly should learn to fly. Christina Stürmer's cyber clone describes her songs as “social criticism that you can not only cuddle to, but also dance to.” With her first German pop album “Sonne, Mond & Dynamit”, which was released in September 2023 on Problembär Records, Kobrakasino secured herself a place in the contemporary Austrian music landscape. Their next single from their second studio album has been announced for September 2025.
