"INHALE DELIRIUM EXHALE", the most recent work by Belgian choreographer and artist Miet Warlop, is a powerful whirlwind of dance by a disparate community of six performers and 6,500 metres of fabric that provides a stage for human fears, desires and secrets.

A wave rises and breaks in empty space. The images culminate with the cadence of the tides, something small transforms into something larger-than-life. The most recent work by Belgian choreographer and artist Miet Warlop develops a powerful visual maelstrom created by an unequal community of six performers and 6,500 metres of fabric in constant movement. "INHALE DELIRIUM EXHALE" refers to the state of mind of inner turmoil, when a flood of images pours down before the mind’s eye, thoughts pile up in your head, and emotions overwhelm you. The fabrics flow, shift, bulge and overlap. With nods to Greek mythology, and not devoid of humour, this tour de force leads us into an impressive universe that provides a stage for human fears, desires and secrets.
