Katja lives an unremarkable life in the neon light of the supermarket - silent, efficient, alone. Her world consists of boxes, price tags and endless shelves. But Katja has discovered something that doesn't fit into the range - a piece of the puzzle of a sinister conspiracy that extends far beyond the supermarket. Between tinned ravioli and surveillance cameras, Katja's hunt for the truth begins - and it won't be the same when it comes to light.

Mawil drew his first comics as a child in East Berlin in the 80s. After reunification, he reproduced his first own booklets in a copy shop. After studying graphic design in Weissensee, his mostly autobiographical books were published by Reprodukt as well as in the USA, England, Spain, France, Brazil, South Korea, Poland, the Czech Republic, Russia and Ukraine. His greatest successes were "Wir können ja Freunde bleiben", "Kinderland" and the tribute volume "Lucky Luke umtelt". A longer album is slowly coming due, but at the moment it's only enough for children's comics and small vending machine booklets.
