For the special exhibition: "GUSTAVE COURBET. Realist and Rebel"

In spring, things are crawling, buzzing, and fluttering everywhere. We look for suitable places for insects in the paintings of Gustave Courbet—on the rocks of northern France, in the густое undergrowth of the forest, or by the river. And if we don’t discover any colorful flowers or insects, we simply invent and create them ourselves in the studio!
