KUNSTZELLE

eSeL & Team

Aftershow Satellite Program 2

Every Wednesday, before the weekly eSeL newsletter is sent out, the www.eSeL.at team meets to write a selection of recommendations from all the art events in the calendar for the coming week. For this purpose, exhibitions or art events that we should also be informed of are summarized by the team with the shortest possible humorous texts and distributed further via social media channels @eSeLat.

For the Aftershow, the moderation process is moved to the public and random audience/passers-by are invited to support the eSeL team with summaries. In doing so, they get to know the challenge of developing funny recommendation texts from often very promising (sometimes also not very meaningful) art texts.

participating:

  • SeL (Lorenz Seidler, eSeL)
  • GaMs (Michael Giebl, editorial coordination event dates)
  • WaschbaerHund (Zhameli Khairli, coordination @eSeLSCHWARM)
  • + current eSeLSCHWARM Ambassador

KUNSTZELLE is a project by Christine Baumann and Pablo Chiereghin

KUNSTZELLE goes MuseumsQuartier

The KUNSTZELLE is moving to the forecourt of the MuseumsQuartier for a year. As a former phone booth, its strength lies in publicity and communication. At its new location in front of the main entrance to the MQ, KUNSTZELLE will be showing three installations this year. The annual program is supplemented by a number of shorter interventions. The exhibitions are followed by "After Shows", short interventions from the fields of performing arts, participatory intervention, sound and visual arts. Its informal atmosphere makes the audience part of the after show. The square revives and opens up.
