The catastrophe is complete. One news story follows another. I am worried about the world. I am worried about the future. I am worried.

And in the midst of all this, you do not respond. Continue to hope? Or give up? Fight? Accept it? Even trust? Plunge into the future?

The agency schallundrauch explores the strategy of hope and invites guests whose experiences and ideas give us hope. Guests who have dealt with despair and hope in different phases of life and contexts, who have overcome crises or started innovative ventures.

"HOPE" is a museum-like theatre installation about hope and fear. The performers and their guests talk about their lives. Together, they find themselves in hopeless situations, engage in philosophical discussions, rebuild, declutter, tell stories, sing songs of despair and empowerment, invent forward-looking technologies, dance with their heads bowed, eat insects and save the world as hobbits.

The audience wanders through the room as if through a museum, lingering and listening to the individual people and stations. This museum experience is interrupted by performative interludes, dance and the choir of hope.
