“Life is a piece of cake” - at least in Sophia Stolz’s art installation ‚“Cake Art”. Sophia Stolz creates edible art - cakes are her canvas. In her work the boundaries between art and cake remain blurry. On Friday, September 17th, visitors to the “MQ Libelle” can watch Stolz, who describes herself as a “cake artist”, create something very special:
the artist, who delights an international audience with her work, will create a spectacular, completely edible sculpture at the MQ Libelle. "Edible Transparancy" will be a total work of art made of sugar, jelly and cake. A cake installation for MuseumsQuartier Wien, which this year celebrates its twentieth anniversary, is created in hours of finely detailed work. We invite visitors to help themselves to their very own piece of MQ (cake) - everyone is part of the MQ, and we want to celebrate that!
