Baja Buf

A play experience for children and their parents

Babies have a natural need to move spontaneously and freely, exploring the space and world around them with their own bodies. Together with three performers who pick up and reflect every movement, sound and mood of the babies, an unpredictable and playful dialogue is created. It all takes place in a large, soft and safe space, free of toys and other distractions.

"Baja Buf" is designed for and with 10 to 15 babies, ages 10 to 24 months. Parents are present in the room and follow their children's organically evolving "choreographies" with the performers. The experience of "Bayabufing" is a first discovery of the possibilities of non-verbal communication and body awareness. Surprising and fresh, always different and revealing the already very personal character of the babies.
