As a public moment of the research lab Poetry without Poets #1, there will be a free workshop with Ari Ban. The best gossip you stumble upon. It appears by surprise, usually while you are busy with something else.
The proposed format of this workshop is to engage in zine-making while overhearing Ari Ban share parts of his research on queer history. Using examples of (self)-portrayal in literature, painting and photography, he points towards a historiography that resists patriarchal chronologies.
It’s an invitation to craft, to sloth, to be in conversation in the presence of forgotten symbols and anachronistic storytelling.
