"Alarmingly alive": Medardo Rosso - exhibition tour III

Thu 20.02., 17.30 – 19h, with Heike Eipeldauer, Nairy Baghramian and Lisa Le Feuvre

Medardo Rosso (Turin, 1858 - Milan, 1928) was one of the great pioneers of modernism and is still considered an important reference figure for many artists today. He created a radically anti-monumental and deeply experimental oeuvre that explores the boundaries between media, materials and forms of presentation. In a tour of the exhibition, curator Heike Eipeldauer joins artist Nairy Baghramian and author Lisa Le Feuvre to discuss what makes Rosso's groundbreaking work so "frighteningly alive" (Phyllida Barlow) to this day.
