A grumpy miser, three ghosts and one chance On Christmas Eve in Victorian London, the miserly and hard-hearted businessman Ebenezer Scrooge declines his nephew's invitation to Christmas dinner, treats his employees badly and refuses to donate to the orphanage, as he does every year. In his world, money has long since triumphed over humanity. But on the magical night before Christmas, he receives an unexpected visit from the ghost of his deceased business partner Marley, who forcefully shows him the consequences of his miserly lifestyle. Shortly afterwards, three ghosts appear and take him on a journey through past, present and future Christmases. Will Scrooge succeed in changing his fate and that of his fellow human beings for the better?
