6th EGON SCHIELE SYMPOSIUM: Egon Schiele and Literature

Thu 13.11., 09.30 – 17h

Language, writing, poetry and literature are closely linked to Egon Schiele (1890–1918). The talented and versatile artist created poems with neologisms in 1910, wrote numerous, often lyrical letters to friends and relatives over the years, and showed an interest in books – from literary works to art and non-fiction books.

The 6th Egon Schiele Symposium is dedicated to the artist's connections to literary works and writers.
