Life is unthinkable without fear and anger and they present a challenge for both children and parents on an everyday basis. Yet they are important and meaningful. This lecture presents perspectives from developmental psychology on what lies behind behavior from typical childhood fears at different ages to the defiant phase. The speaker also gives practical tips for dealing with these emotions in everyday situations.
