The poet Radmila Petrović was born in Užice (Serbia) in 1996 and is one of the most sought-after poets in former Yugoslavia today. She is currently Q21 Writer-in-Residence in Vienna and is working on her fourth volume of poetry. When writing, she asks herself what happens when we say everything about what society is silent about. Her themes include life in the village, family, childhood trauma, social pressure, culture of silence, etc. She will read from her published poetry collections and also present new, unpublished poems.
