For the ball season, PITOUR, aka Maria Oberfrank has developed a new line especially with the Viennese textile designer Rosa Gianesin, whose pattern world delves into the world of the Fin de Siècle and the Viennese Secession and traces the savoir vivre.
Quotations from Viennese Art Nouveau, which still play a major role in the Viennese streetscape, were further developed and composed into new patterns. These were printed by hand using screen printing techniques on silk satin in several colors in Vienna. This resulted in cuts that quote times long past and were made into flowing evening dresses. These dresses are perfect for the Viennese ball season, which culminates with the Opera Ball.
