Uli Kühn: bad weather reporter

The climate is changing drastically; oppressively hot summers, storms and tropical downpours are becoming part of our daily lives. bad weather reporter is an installative sound composition that reacts immediately to local weather events. Loud speakers, found footage, motors and solenoids are controlled by bad weather data, adverse temperatures, pressure and humidity conditions or storm forecasts. Uli kühn was born in Lower Austria in 1982 and lives and works in Vienna as artist and lecturer at the interfaces of sound art, performance and installation. Uli kühn is part of the live performance duo “bad weather report“.
